The Philadelphia Phillies selected Arkansas shortstop Casey Martin with the 87th overall pick in the third round in the 2020 MLB draft on Thursday. Texas proceeded to take South Florida pitcher Carson Ragsdale in the fourth round and Georgia Tech outfielder Baron Radcliff with their pick in the fifth round. Martin is an incredible athlete with plenty of tools, most notably his power/speed combination. He has the potential to be a 25-25 guy at the next level if he can cut down on his strikeouts. Ragsdale is a big (6-foot-8, 225 pounds) right-hander with a nice downhill plane who is more control than command at this point, and his size and strength could land him in the bullpen. Radcliff has some power in his bat but also has a concerning strikeout rate.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
