Philip Rivers Should Have Solid Week 2
5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers lost his tight end this week, but he should still be able to put up a good performance in Week 2 against the Lions. The veteran star has shown before that he has no problem picking apart a defense with nothing but backup wideouts, and he'll at least have his favorite targets, Keenan Allen and Austin Ekeler, available this week. Detroit's defense fell apart in the second half of last week's game, and that was against a rookie QB with a rookie head coach. Someone with Rivers' experience should have no problem finding holes.
