Detroit Lions right tackle Penei Sewell (ankle) is officially active for Sunday's Week 12 contest against the New York Giants. He had been listed as questionable after logging back-to-back limited practices. The 25-year-old will suit up for his 11th game of the 2025 season, providing key protection to Jared Goff, Jahmyr Gibbs, and David Montgomery. Sewell has allowed zero sacks this season, so his presence is quite important as the Lions look to slow down a Giants pass rush headlined by Brian Burns, who has 13 sacks.--Andersen Pickard
