Detroit Red Wings right wing Patrick Kane exited Sunday's win against Toronto early due to a lower-body injury. The former MVP lasted for just 1:07 in the game, leaving after taking two shifts. According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the injury isn't related to Kane's hip problem, which needed surgery in the offseason. After signing a one-year, $2.75 million contract with the Red Wings, Kane skated in his 19th game for the team. He has posted seven goals and nine assists. Joe Veleno, Andrew Copp, and Daniel Sprong all saw time on the second line without Kane on Sunday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerRead More News
