Baltimore Orioles catcher prospect Samuel Basallo went 3-for-4 with a double, two home runs, and four RBI during their contest against Triple-A Jacksonville. After starting the Triple-A campaign holding a low .208/.304/.417 slash line, the budding star has begun to flip the script. Over his last six contests, Basallo has posted a stellar .360/.407/.840 slash line. During this stretch, he has tallied three doubles, three home runs, and added seven RBI. Last summer, Basallo struggled during his first taste of Triple-A, posting a modest .222/.267/.370 slash line with just three home runs across 21 games. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor Basallo's production as he should be in the mix to join Baltimore later this summer. He is currently ranked as the No. 16-best prospect in the sport on MLB.com.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerSource: MiLB.com

Athletics third baseman/outfielder Miguel Andujar was a key contributor in Tuesday night's 11-1 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers. Andujar went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and two RBI, capping his night with a two-run home run in the ninth inning—his third of the season. He also added a pair of singles, including an RBI knock in the seventh. The 30-year-old is now slashing .319/.347/.442 and has lowered his strikeout rate to a career-best 10.7 K%. Andujar will look to stay hot as the Athletics continue their push for the top spot in the American League West.--Julian Brooke - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Boston Red Sox second base/outfield prospect Kristian Campbell went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run during their loss to the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday evening. Campbell would go deep in the 11th inning. This was his fifth home run of his rookie season. However, entering this contest, the Georgia Tech product was riding an extended slump. Over his previous nine contests, Campbell went 3-for-34 at the plate with one RBI, 11 strikeouts, and no walks. However, prior to this skid, Campbell held an impressive .313/.420/.515 slash line with eight doubles, four home runs, two stolen bases, and a 30:19 K:BB. Fantasy managers should continue to view Campbell as a solid second baseman or outfielder in all formats. He will look to remain productive on Wednesday, facing Detroit ace Tarik Skubal.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Athletics first base prospect Nick Kurtz went 2-for-5 with his first MLB home run during their victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday evening. Kurtz went deep in the eighth inning with a solo shot. This was a much-needed breakout game for the top prospect as he has yet to find his power swing at the MLB level. Entering Tuesday, Kurtz held a solid .269 AVG through his first 16 MLB games. However, during this stretch, he posted a low .327 SLG with a .649 OPS. He tallied just five RBI and held a 23:5 K:BB. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status as the A's may continue to limit his opportunities, given his slow start. However, he may have begun to turn the corner. Given his power upside, he should continue to be rostered in all 12+ team formats. He will look to stay hot on Wednesday, facing Yoshinobu Yamamoto.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Athletics outfielder JJ Bleday went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday's 11-1 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers. Bleday capped the blowout with a 402-foot homer in the ninth inning—his sixth of the season—and added an RBI single in the seventh. He has now gone deep in back-to-back games and is slashing .222/.315/.410 with a .725 OPS and .311 wOBA through 40 games this season. Bleday will look to continue his power surge in Game 2 against the Dodgers and should remain in lineups while he's swinging a hot bat. --Julian Brooke - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Cleveland Guardians left-hander Logan Allen turned in a gem in his team's 2-0 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday. Allen tossed six innings of shutout ball, allowing three hits while walking one and striking out six. The veteran southpaw improved his record to 2-2 with the start, which goes down as his best of the season. After an excellent rookie season in 2023, Allen struggled last season, but he is showing signs of a bounce-back campaign this year, posting a 3.70 ERA, 1.52 WHIP, and 31 strikeouts over 41 1/3 innings of work. While he isn't a must-start in fantasy, he is worth a look in plus matchups going forward. Allen will take on the Minnesota Twins on the road in his next start, which is scheduled for Monday.--Matt T - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Junior Caminero played the hero in his team's 11-9 win over the Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday. Caminero went 1-for-5 with a grand slam in the close win. The grand slam was a clutch one as it broke a 7-7 tie in the top of the ninth inning. The ball was demolished as Caminero hit it 419 feet with an exit velocity of 108.8 MPH. Caminero is putting together a strong start to the season, hitting .247 with eight homers, 19 runs, 20 RBI, and two steals across 150 at-bats. He should remain locked into fantasy lineups moving forward.--Matt T - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Kansas City Royals left-hander Kris Bubic threw a quality start in his team's 2-1 loss to the Houston Astros on Tuesday. Bubic allowed one run on six hits over 6 1/3 innings of work while walking one. The southpaw notched nine strikeouts on an impressive 22 swinging strikes in the start. Bubic is off to a great start in 2025, posting a 4-2 record, 1.66 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, and 56 strikeouts over 54 1/3 innings of work. He has developed into a must-start in fantasy as he gears up for his next start, which is set for Monday against the San Francisco Giants.--Matt T - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Houston Astros left-hander Framber Valdez turned in a gem in his team's 2-1 win over the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday. Valdez allowed one run on six hits over eight innings while striking out seven and walking one, but had to settle for a no-decision in the outing. The veteran southpaw notched 14 swinging strikes in the outing while lowering his ERA to 3.54 on the year. Valdez will take a 2-4 record into his next start, which is scheduled for Monday against the Tampa Bay Rays.--Matt T - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

San Diego Padres right-hander Dylan Cease turned in a quality start in his team's 6-4 win over the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday. Cease allowed two runs on five hits over 6 2/3 innings while striking out 10 and walking one, but he had to settle for a no-decision as the Padres' offense didn't come to life until after he departed. Cease has been up-and-down for the Padres this season, posting a 1-2 record, 4.60 ERA, 1.34 WHIP, and 58 strikeouts over 47 innings of work. That being said, Tuesday's start is a reminder of his fantasy upside when he's on. Cease will look to keep it going in his next start, which is scheduled to come against the Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday.--Matt T - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

San Francisco Giants second baseman Christian Koss turned in a big performance in his team's 10-6 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday. Koss went 2-for-4 with a grand slam to help power the Giants to the win over their division rivals. The rookie infielder erased an early 3-0 Diamondbacks lead with his grand slam in the second inning while also accomplishing the rare feat of making his first career homer a grand slam in the contest. Koss is now hitting .241 with one homer, six runs, and seven RBI across 54 at-bats for San Francisco this season. Big game aside, fantasy gamers will need to see a bit more out of Koss at the plate before considering him for starting lineups in the future.--Matt T - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Josh Naylor had a productive evening in his team's 10-6 loss to the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday. Naylor went 2-for-5 with a homer, four RBI, and a stolen base in the loss. The veteran infielder blasted a 413-foot two-run homer in the ninth inning to pull the Diamondbacks to within four runs. Naylor is now hitting .296 with five homers, 21 runs, 27 RBI, and seven steals across 159 at-bats in his first season with Arizona. His blend of power and speed makes him a high-end fantasy first baseman.--Matt T - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Daulton Varsho had a big night in his team's 11-9 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday. Varsho went 2-for-5 with two homers and four RBI, but it wasn't quite enough to down the Rays in the high-scoring loss. The veteran outfielder has been productive in limited time this season, hitting just .222 with five homers, six runs, 11 RBI, and one steal across 36 at-bats after missing the majority of April following offseason shoulder surgery. He is worth a look in deep fantasy leagues as a reserve moving forward.--Matt T - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Athletics shortstop Jacob Wilson stayed red-hot at the plate in his team's 11-1 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday. Wilson went 4-for-5 with two homers, two runs, and four RBI to help power his team to the win. The game goes down as the first multi-homer game of the rookie's career. Wilson is impressing thus far this season, hitting .363 with five homers, 24 runs, 26 RBI, and two steals across 160 at-bats. He is hitting a blistering .484 with two homers and nine RBI over his past seven games as he makes an early case for Rookie of the Year in the American League. Wilson should be locked into fantasy lineups moving forward.--Matt T - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Texas Rangers relief pitcher Shawn Armstrong picked up his first save of the season in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Rockies. Armstrong came in to pitch the bottom of the ninth inning with no outs and runners on first and third. Chris Martin (elbow) did face one batter before Armstrong but exited due to elbow tightness. Armstrong shut the door on a potential comeback by striking out the side. The 34-year-old veteran has pitched well this season, converting one of two save opportunities with two holds to go with a 3.06 ERA, a 1.13 WHIP, and a 10.19 K/9 rate in 17 2/3 innings of work. Three different pitchers have seen save opportunities for the Rangers in the last seven days and Luke Jackson (hand) is day-to-day after being hit in the hand by a comebacker. Fantasy managers should wait to see Armstrong earn more high-leverage opportunities before investing a roster spot on him.--Connelly Doan - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com
