Chase Briscoe of Joe Gibbs Racing gained a finish of fourth in this week's race at Kansas Speedway, the AdventHealth 400. Briscoe was supposed to start the race from the 19th position, but started from the rear after changing the car before the race began. The No. 19 Toyota driver was quiet during the race's first stage as he ended up on pit road multiple times, making adjustments to his car and to get fresher tires. These adjustments allowed Briscoe to progress up to 17th by the end of the first stage. The second stage was similar to the first, where Briscoe stayed out of trouble and tried to adjust his car in pit stops, but he did advance further past 17th by the end of the stage. In the third stage, Briscoe's team finally made the right adjustments and was able to move up through the field to the top 10. With strong moves during restarts, Briscoe ended up in the fourth position by the end of the race, his first finish inside both the top 10 and top 5 at Kansas.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller
