Logan Allen Tosses Six Shutout Innings On Tuesday
Logan Allen turned in a gem in his team's 2-0 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday. Allen tossed six innings of shutout ball, allowing three hits while walking one and striking out six. The veteran southpaw improved his record to 2-2 with the start, which goes down as his best of the season. After an excellent rookie season in 2023, Allen struggled last season, but he is showing signs of a bounce-back campaign this year, posting a 3.70 ERA, 1.52 WHIP, and 31 strikeouts over 41 1/3 innings of work. While he isn't a must-start in fantasy, he is worth a look in plus matchups going forward. Allen will take on the Minnesota Twins on the road in his next start, which is scheduled for Monday.
