Kristian Campbell Snaps Skid With Two-Run Shot
Kristian Campbell went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run during their loss to the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday evening. Campbell would go deep in the 11th inning. This was his fifth home run of his rookie season. However, entering this contest, the Georgia Tech product was riding an extended slump. Over his previous nine contests, Campbell went 3-for-34 at the plate with one RBI, 11 strikeouts, and no walks. However, prior to this skid, Campbell held an impressive .313/.420/.515 slash line with eight doubles, four home runs, two stolen bases, and a 30:19 K:BB. Fantasy managers should continue to view Campbell as a solid second baseman or outfielder in all formats. He will look to remain productive on Wednesday, facing Detroit ace Tarik Skubal.
