Clayton Kershaw Set For Season Debut Saturday
Clayton Kershaw (knee, toe) will make his season debut on Saturday at home against the Los Angeles Angels. The eighteen-year veteran has been stuck on the 60-day IL after undergoing offseason knee and toe surgeries. Kershaw pitched just 30 innings in 2024 while dealing with his toe and an elbow ailment, but has overall looked solid during his time in the minors thus far. It's highlighted by an overpowering six-inning showing in which he allowed no hits and struck out four (one walk). However, it's worth noting that was at the rookie level. He should be a nice aid to LA's rotation, and could be a sneaky boost for fantasy managers if he recaptures his form from 2023.
