Brian Hartline Expected to Land USF Head-Coaching Job
Ohio State offensive coordinator Brian Hartline is expected to be the next head coach at South Florida, according to OnSports. The former Ohio State and Miami Dolphins wide receiver is a rising star in the coaching ranks thanks to his work with the Buckeyes' wide receivers in recent seasons, including Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson, Marvin Harrison Jr., Emeka Egbuka, Jeremiah Smith, and more, since landing the WRs coach role in 2018. He took over for Chip Kelly as the team's offensive coordinator in 2025 and has flourished in his first year in that role. This is a great hire for USF, which just lost head coach Alex Golesh to Auburn.
