San Jose Sharks left wing Jeff Skinner (lower body) will remain out on Wednesday against the Washington Capitals. The veteran has logged a couple of practice sessions this week, but the team doesn't want to rush him back. Skinner has been out of action since Nov. 13, missing nine games. He has tallied seven points (four goals, three assists) across 17 outings this season. After Wednesday night, San Jose has two more games scheduled for this week, and it appears likely that Skinner will return to the lineup for one of the contests. Ryan Warsofsky's team will face Dallas on Friday and Carolina on Sunday.--Taavi Pailk
