Ryan Blaney of Team Penske was strong during Sunday's AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway and finished third. Beginning the race from the 10th position, Blaney quickly made up ground, and by lap 27, he made it to the fourth position. The No. 12 Ford driver ended the first stage in that same position, even through pit stops, and earned stage points as a result. In the second stage, Blaney continued to run inside the top five and kept his car clean while executing pit stops with no mistakes. He ended the second stage in the third position and claimed more stage points. In the final stage, Blaney continued to run in the top five outside of pit stop cycles and had one of the best cars in the field on longer runs. On the final green flag run, Blaney drove up from fifth all the way to his eventual finishing position of third. This would be the second consecutive top-5 finish at Kansas and his first time getting back-to-back top-5 finishes at the site since 2017.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller
