Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Darius Garland (toe) will miss Sunday's matchup against the Atlanta Hawks. On Friday, Cavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson said that Garland was close to making his season debut, but he will miss at least one more game due to offseason toe surgery. Donovan Mitchell (hamstring) may also miss another game on Sunday, which places additional responsibility on Lonzo Ball and Craig Porter Jr. in the Cavaliers backcourt. Both players were relatively quiet during Friday's NBA Cup matchup against the Toronto Raptors, as Evan Mobley, De'Andre Hunter, and Jaylon Tyson took charge.--Taavi Pailk

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell (hamstring) has been listed as questionable on the injury report for Sunday's matchup against the Atlanta Hawks. Mitchell picked up a hamstring problem earlier this week and sat out Friday's action against the Toronto Raptors. The Cavaliers are already facing a bit of an injury crisis early in the season, which has allowed Jaylon Tyson and Dean Wade to play more minutes. Meanwhile, Evan Mobley and De'Andre Hunter led the team's offense on Friday, contributing over half (54) of Cleveland's 101 points.--Taavi Pailk

Oklahoma City Thunder forward/center Chet Holmgren (back) will miss a third consecutive game on Sunday afternoon against the New Orleans Pelicans. The talented big man is dealing with a lower back strain. Before he landed on the shelf, Holmgren had a great start to the campaign, averaging a double-double with 23.0 points and 10.3 rebounds. Jaylin Williams has a larger role in the rotation without Holmgren, while players like Aaron Wiggins and Cason Wallace also see more action.--Taavi Pailk

Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young (knee) will be re-evaluated in four weeks, ESPN's Shams Charania reports. An MRI has revealed that Young sustained a sprained MCL in his right knee in Wednesday's win over the Brooklyn Nets. He will miss a second consecutive game on Sunday versus the Cleveland Cavaliers and could be out until December. In Friday's matchup against the Indiana Pacers, Nickeil Alexander-Walker replaced Young in the starting lineup, producing an effective two-way performance with 21 points and two steals. Luke Kennard and Keaton Wallace will also benefit from Young's absence in the coming weeks.--Taavi Pailk

Boston Celtics point guard Payton Pritchard (ankle) will be in the lineup on Saturday against the Houston Rockets. There was a little question mark hanging over Pritchard after he injured his left ankle on Friday against the Philadelphia 76ers and was on the injury report with a probable designation. Pritchard has joined Boston's first unit this season, averaging 14.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 5.8 assists, and 1.3 steals. He's offered plenty of fantasy value, although there should be a lot more to come from Pritchard, as he's been shooting below 18 percent from downtown so far.--Taavi Pailk

Boston Celtics guard Derrick White (neck) will play in Saturday's contest against the Houston Rockets. Following a 35-minute shift on Friday against the Philadelphia 76ers, White was placed on the injury report with a probable tag. However, the team has now upgraded him to available. White's shooting struggles continued on Friday night, as he went 6-for-16 from the field to finish with 15 points. For the season, White is shooting barely 32 percent from the field and has nailed only 25.4 percent of his three-point attempts. White's campaign has started poorly, but he has compensated for his shooting woes with strong contributions in other areas, averaging 3.8 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.0 blocks, and 1.5 steals.--Taavi Pailk

Detroit Pistons point guard Marcus Sasser (hip) will remain sidelined on Saturday against the Dallas Mavericks. He has yet to play this season due to right hip impingement, although Detroit initially listed him as questionable for Saturday's contest in Mexico City. Sasser averaged 6.6 points and 2.3 assists in 14.2 minutes during his sophomore year last term. He won't have much fantasy value as long as Cade Cunningham stays healthy. With Jaden Ivey (knee) also on the shelf, Daniss Jenkins will continue as the backup point guard for Detroit.--Taavi Pailk

Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant has been suspended by the team for one game because of detrimental conduct. Morant struggled badly in Friday's matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers, finishing with eight points on 3-for-14 shooting, and he was visibly upset after the game. "According to [the coaching staff], probably don't play me, honestly," Morant said postgame. "That's basically what the message was. It's cool." Morant also told reporters to "go ask the coaching staff" when asked about his struggles. As a result of the suspension, Morant won't be available for Sunday's contest against the Toronto Raptors. This will likely lead to increased roles for Javon Small and Cam Spencer.--Taavi Pailk

Memphis Grizzlies forward GG Jackson II (illness) won't play on Friday against the Los Angeles Lakers. The 20-year-old is currently battling an illness and has been downgraded from questionable to out. Given Jackson II's limited role on the team, Memphis likely won't miss him much. During the new campaign, Jackson II has averaged only 9.0 minutes across two outings. He will get his first chance to return to the lineup on Sunday night against the Toronto Raptors.--Taavi Pailk

Los Angeles Lakers guard Marcus Smart (quadriceps) has been upgraded to available for Friday's tilt against the Memphis Grizzlies. After missing two games, Smart has recovered from a quadriceps contusion just in time to face his former team. Smart will make his second start as a Laker, with Deandre Ayton, Austin Reaves, Rui Hachimura, and the returning Luka Doncic joining him in the first unit. The veteran guard will have a limited role offensively, which limits his fantasy value.--Taavi Pailk

Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic (leg, finger) has been officially cleared for Friday's matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies. Lakers head coach JJ Redick said that he would be "mindful" of Doncic's minutes during the game, but he can still make a massive impact even with limited playing time. Additionally, the Lakers will have Marcus Smart (quadriceps) back in the lineup, which will likely reduce the minutes for players like Dalton Knecht and Jake LaRavia.--Taavi Pailk

Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs (rest) will rejoin the lineup for Saturday's game against the Washington Wizards. The team has removed him from the injury report after Suggs sat out the second leg of a back-to-back on Thursday for rest purposes. Suggs has only recently recovered from knee surgery, and the team has been careful not to overwork him. Through his first four outings of the campaign, Suggs has averaged only 19.3 minutes. However, he's still been productive, putting up 11.3 points and recording 3.8 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.0 steals. Suggs' return will bump Anthony Black back to the bench.--Taavi Pailk

Dallas Mavericks forward/center Anthony Davis (calf) will sit out at least two games due to a low-grade left calf strain, the team announced Friday. Davis suffered the injury on Wednesday versus the Indiana Pacers. The team will re-evaluate Davis next week after Dallas completes a brief two-game road trip. With Daniel Gafford (ankle) and Dereck Lively II (knee) also out of the lineup, Dwight Powell put together a decent fantasy line on Wednesday, with 18 points, six rebounds, two blocks, and one steal. He could get another opportunity to shine on Saturday against the Detroit Pistons in Mexico City.--Taavi Pailk

New York Knicks forward/center Guerschon Yabusele (knee) will be in the lineup on Friday against the Chicago Bulls, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports. However, it's unclear how involved he will be in the rotation, as Mitchell Robinson (ankle) will make his season debut in a starting role and won't have a minutes restriction. In his prior three outings this season, Yabusele has logged 13.7 minutes per game. He has averaged 4.0 rebounds, but the Frenchman has been a non-factor offensively, putting up 1.7 points per outing.--Taavi Pailk

New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (ankle) will make his season debut on Friday against the Chicago Bulls without a minutes restriction, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports. An ankle injury has kept Robinson on the sidelines for the first four games of the campaign, but it seems like he's at 100 percent now. Robinson will join the starting unit and has a big role to play in New York's attempt to contain Nikola Vucevic, who has averaged a very efficient 18.3 points and 13.3 rebounds per game early this season.--Taavi Pailk
