Buffalo Bills running back James Cook is officially present at mandatory minicamp on Tuesday, although it's unclear how much he'll actually participate this week as he seeks a new long-term deal, a source tells NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Cook skipped voluntary organized team activities in April and May but wasn't ready to be fined by skipping minicamp as he looks for a new deal as he heads into the final year of his current deal. The 25-year-old former second-rounder had a big year for the Bills and fantasy managers in his third season in 2024. After scoring four rushing touchdowns combined in his first two seasons, Cook broke out with a league-high 16 TDs on the ground while finishing with 1,009 rushing yards on 207 carries. He added 32 catches for 258 yards and two more scores. The two-time Pro Bowler will face serious TD regression in 2025 but should still be the unquestioned RB1 in Buffalo.--Keith HernandezSource: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Liam Coen said that quarterback Trevor Lawrence (arm) was in a sleeve during mandatory minicamp on Tuesday due to "general soreness." Lawrence is wearing a sleeve on his right throwing arm. Lawrence's right arm is a bit sore after throwing a lot during OTAs, and Coen added that the former first-rounder feels good. The 25-year-old had surgery in December for an AC joint sprain in his left, non-throwing shoulder, but that shouldn't be an issue come the start of the regular season this fall. Lawrence is learning a new offense under Coen this offseason while working with rookie wideout Travis Hunter and offseason acquisition Dyami Brown, in addition to second-year pass-catcher Brian Thomas Jr. The Clemson product has enough weapons to rebound and be more efficient under Coen after an injury-plagued season in 2024. Draft Lawrence as a low-end QB2 with upside in fantasy.--Keith HernandezSource: 1010 XL - Rick Ballou

Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud (shoulder) was throwing during mandatory minicamp on Tuesday as he continues to get over muscle tightness in his shoulder that he dealt with during voluntary organized team activities recently, according to KPRC 2 Houston's Aaron Wilson. It's not a surprise that Stroud is out there this week after head coach DeMeco Ryans said during OTAs that he wasn't really concerned with the QB's shoulder. The 23-year-old former first-rounder was the Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2023 but took a step back in 2024, throwing for 3,727 yards, 20 touchdowns and 12 interceptions while taking 52 sacks in 17 regular-season starts. A porous offensive line and knee injuries to Stefon Diggs and Tank Dell didn't help his cause as he finished as the QB18 in fantasy. Houston's offense line is going to have to be much better for Stroud to rebound in 2025.--Keith HernandezSource: KPRC 2 Sports - Aaron Wilson

Washington Commanders All-Pro wide receiver Terry McLaurin is not attending mandatory minicamp this week, reports FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz. McLaurin has made it clear to the team that he's not happy with the lack of progress on a long-term deal and also left voluntary workouts last week unexpectedly after initially attending OTAs. The 29-year-old is heading into the final year of his three-year, $68.2 million deal and is coming off his fifth straight 1,000-yard receiving season in which he also had a career-high 13 touchdowns in 17 regular-season starts as quarterback Jayden Daniels' top target. The Daniels McLaurin pairing should continue to produce, but fantasy managers will want to expect touchdown regression, and the addition of Deebo Samuel Sr. could also change the dynamic of Washington's offense. Target McLaurin as a high-end WR2 in fantasy this fall.--Keith HernandezSource: FOX Sports - Jordan Schultz

Free-agent running back Cam Akers will try out for the New Orleans Saints this week during their mandatory minicamp, a league source tells Nick Underhill. Akers spent last year with the Houston Texans and Minnesota Vikings, combining for 104 carries for 444 rushing yards and two touchdowns while adding 14 receptions on 18 targets for 68 receiving yards and three additional TDs. The 25-year-old former second-rounder (52nd overall) by the Los Angeles Rams in 2020 out of Florida State would serve in a depth role for the Saints if he were to impress them this week and sign a contract for 2025. Alvin Kamara is still the team's workhorse back under new head coach Kellen Moore, with former third-rounder Kendre Miller and rookie sixth-rounder Devin Neal expected to compete for the RB2 role at training camp this summer. Akers has torn his Achilles twice and remains off the fantasy radar for now.--Keith HernandezSource: NewOrleans.Football - Nick Underhill

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook is currently in Buffalo and will attend mandatory minicamp this week, a source tells the Circling the Wagons Podcast. Cook and the Bills aren't close to agreeing to a contract extension, which led to the belief that the 25-year-old wouldn't show up for minicamp this week. However, Cook may have reconsidered so that he won't be fined. He didn't show up for voluntary organized team activities in April and May as he heads into the final year of his current contract. The two-time Pro Bowler had his second straight 1,000-yard rushing season and also led the NFL with 16 rushing touchdowns in 16 regular-season starts in 2024, adding 32 catches for 258 yards and two more TDs. Fantasy managers need to expect regression in the TD department. Remember, he had only two scores on the ground in each of 2022 and 2023. RotoBaller has Cook ranked as the RB13 going into 2025.--Keith HernandezSource: Circling The Wagons Podcast

SI.com's Albert Breer reports that Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson (shoulder), who was shut down on the second day of organized team activities last week, will seek another opinion on his troublesome right shoulder with Dr. Neal ElAttrache this week. ElAttrache is the one who did Richardson's AC-joint surgery in 2023. The Colts said that the 23-year-old former first-rounder's shoulder was structurally sound, but the fact that he's visiting with the same doctor that did his surgery isn't good news, and he'll also miss mandatory minicamp this week. There's currently no timetable for Richardson's return, and it's fair to wonder if he'll even be ready for the start of training camp at the end of July. Richardson could still be ready for Week 1 this fall, but right now, his injury increases the chances that Daniel Jones will open the 2025 season as Indy's starting QB.--Keith HernandezSource: SI.com - Albert Breer

The Houston Texans officially signed free-agent running back Nick Chubb to a one-year, $2.5 million deal on Monday that could be worth up to $5 million, sources tell NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Chubb passed a physical after a gruesome left-knee injury in 2023 that required multiple surgeries. The former Cleveland Browns Pro Bowler was one of the most powerful backs in the league before his injury, as he went for a career-high 1,525 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns on 302 carries in 2022. He managed to play in just eight games last year, though, and wasn't the same, averaging a career-low 3.3 yards per carry with 332 rushing yards and three scores on 102 rushing attempts. Chubb also fractured his left foot in Week 15 last year, so he may never be the same explosive back he once was. Now in Houston, he'll be competing with Dameon Pierce for RB2 duties behind starter Joe Mixon.--Keith HernandezSource: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

The Cleveland Browns announced on Monday that they signed offensive tackle Jackson Barton to an undisclosed deal and waived center Justin Osborne with an injury designation in a corresponding move. Barton suffered an ankle injury last year and ended the 2024 season with the Arizona Cardinals on Injured Reserve, but he's recovered now and will be attempting to win a roster spot in Cleveland this summer. The 29-year-old was a former seventh-round pick (240th overall) by the Indianapolis Colts in 2019 out of Utah. He broke into the NFL in 2021 with the Las Vegas Raiders and spent two years with the team before playing in Arizona the last two seasons. Barton has only started two of the 13 games he's appeared in over his four years in the NFL.--Keith HernandezSource: Cleveland Browns

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Chidobe Awuzie (ankle) suffered what appeared to be an ankle injury in Monday's voluntary organized team activities, but 105.7 The Fan's Courdell Woodland doesn't think the injury is very serious. It's unclear if Awuzie will be available now for mandatory minicamp this month, but the 30-year-old veteran should be good for training camp at the end of July as he heads into his first season in Baltimore. In just eight games (seven starts) for the Tennessee Titans last year, Awuzie had 26 tackles (17 solo), an interception, four pass breakups and a forced fumble. The former second-rounder (60th overall) by the Dallas Cowboys in 2017 out of Colorado will give the Ravens secondary depth in 2025, but he can be ignored in IDP fantasy drafts.--Keith HernandezSource: 105.7 The Fan - Cordell Woodland

Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles said the team is hopeful that wide receiver Chris Godwin (ankle) will be ready for Week 1 of the 2025 regular season this fall after dislocating his ankle last year. Bowles said that Godwin has been working hard ahead of this week's mandatory minicamp. The 29-year-old was on his way to a career year and had five touchdowns in seven games before suffering a season-ending injury in 2024. He took less money to return to Tampa in the offseason on a three-year, $66 million deal in March. With offensive coordinator Liam Coen now out of town and Godwin coming off a serious ankle injury, fantasy managers have plenty of reasons to be skeptical that he'll look as good as he did before his injury last year. Perhaps the biggest threat to Godwin's workload in 2025 is rookie first-round wideout Emeka Egbuka.--Keith HernandezSource: Tampa Bay Times - Rick Stroud

Per the team, the Los Angeles Rams have signed free agent offensive lineman David Quessenberry to a one-year contract. The financial details have not been disclosed. Quessenberry was a sixth-round pick by the Houston Texans in 2013 and will join his fourth squad in the last five seasons after stints with the Tennessee Titans, Buffalo Bills, and Minnesota Vikings. Most recently, the 34-year-old appeared in 33 contests (four starts) over the previous two campaigns with Minnesota. However, he played just 110 offensive snaps in 2024 (9.85%). Quessenberry is currently buried on the team's unofficial depth chart and figures to act as a depth piece on the Rams' offensive edge.--Alex CiullaSource: Stu Jackson

The Buffalo Bills have signed free agent defensive lineman Marcus Harris to an undisclosed contract. Maddy Glab of BuffaloBills.com reported the news. Defensive tackle Devin Brandt-Epps was released in a corresponding move. Harris was drafted by the Houston Texans in the seventh round of the 2024 draft, but spent last season on the New England Patriots' practice squad. In five seasons of college ball (Auburn, Kansas), he notched 126 tackles (74 solo), 11.5 sacks, and 31.5 tackles for loss (47 games). The 24-year-old joins a revamped Bills' defensive front alongside former Pittsburgh Steelers starter Larry Ogunjobi, Casey Rogers, and second- and fourth-round rookies TJ Sanders and Deone Walker. Harris will compete for a spot on the roster.--Alex CiullaSource: Maddy Glab

ESPN's Ben Baby reports that the Cincinnati Bengals are releasing linebacker Germaine Pratt ahead of the team's mandatory minicamp on Tuesday. Cincinnati drafted Pratt with the ninth pick in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft, and he's appeared in 15 or more games in each of his six seasons, including 34 straight starts over the previous two. The 29-year-old tallied a career-high -- and team-leading -- 143 tackles (80 solo) in 2024, with two picks, two forced fumbles, and two recovered fumbles. Pratt formally requested a trade back in February, but after the Bengals could not find a suitable partner, they decided to cut ties with him. It seems favorable that he'll draw interest from another linebacker-needy organization.--Alex CiullaSource: Ben Baby
