Browns Take Mason Graham At Fifth Overall In 2025 NFL Draft
Source: NFL.com
The Cleveland Browns selected Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday night. Cleveland came into Thursday evening with the No. 2 overall pick, but they completed a blockbuster deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars to move down to No. 5. Graham is a two-time All-American from Los Angeles and was also a star wrestler in high school. The 21-year-old is versatile and disruptive, although his numbers didn't exactly stand out at the collegiate level. Graham has the ability to make tackles everywhere and has strong hands at the point of contact. The Browns will now try to school him up as a pure pass-rusher to help out Myles Garrett on the outside. If Graham develops into more of a pure pass-rusher, Cleveland will be very satisfied with his pick after dropping back several spots for more draft capital.Patriots Select Will Campbell At Fourth Overall
Drake Maye. There are concerns about Campbell's arm length as he heads to the next level, but he can make up for it with elite athleticism. Campbell has always been a left tackle in his football career and is expected to stick at the position as he heads to the NFL to protect Maye's blind side. The 21-year-old is excellent in run protection as well as protecting the quarterback. The Louisiana native stands at 6-foot-6, 319 pounds. Despite having short arm, Campbell has elite hands and uses them as well as anybody in this draft at the position. If he stays healthy, Campbell should be a staple for the Pats on the left side of the O-line.Source: NFL.com
The New England Patriots selected LSU offensive tackle Will Campbell with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday night. This one was expected as the Patriots look to bolster their offensive line in front of young quarterback Giants Draft Abdul Carter At Third Overall
Source: NFL.com
The New York Giants selected Penn State defensive end Abdul Carter with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday night. Carter was hands down the best defensive prospect in this year's draft class and was a unanimous All-American selection. He lived in opponent's backfield and led FBS with 23.5 tackles for loss in 2024. Carter will combine with Kayvon Thibodeaux and Brian Burns for the Giants to boost their pass rush moving forward in a division that includes the reigning Super Bowl-champion Philadelphia Eagles. Carter has an amazing first step off the line as he rushes the passer and has a high motor. Despite dealing with several injuries during the pre-draft process -- he didn't require surgery for his foot -- the 21-year-old didn't fall outside of the top five picks this year. Carter could make the kind of immediate impact that Micah Parsons did in Dallas.Jaguars Trade Up To Select Travis Hunter At Second Overall

The Cleveland Browns have traded the No. 2 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for the fifth overall pick, the 36th pick, and a 2026 first-round pick. The Jaguars will also receive the 104th and 200th overall picks. In the first blockbuster trade on Thursday night, the Jaguars traded up to acquire the second overall pick, likely to be used on Colorado WR/DBTitans Take Cam Ward First Overall In 2025 NFL Draft

Panthers, Buccaneers, Seahawks Talking About Trading Back
Travis Hunter. Carolina sits at No. 8 overall, with the Dolphins at No. 13, the Bucs at No. 19, and the Seahawks at No. 18. Tampa is an obvious candidate to slide back and pick up more draft capital, as they only have six total selections this week.Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport lists the Carolina Panthers, Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Seattle Seahawks as some teams open to/discussing trading back in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday night. Rapoport also says almost every team late in Round 1 is open to moving back. The Houston Texans, Denver Broncos and Jacksonville Jaguars are a few of the teams potentially looking to move up, with the Jaguars rumored to be contemplating going up as high as No. 2 with the Cleveland Browns to take Colorado two-way star Brent Rooker Resting For First Time This Season
Brent Rooker will take a day off for the first time this season in Thursday's contest against the division-rival Texas Rangers. The left-handed-hitting Seth Brown will serve as the DH and will hit sixth against Rangers right-hander Jacob deGrom. Brown has only faced deGrom twice in his career, but he did take him deep for a solo home run. Rooker is hitting .235 (24-for-102) on the year -- he's probably not going to be much of an average or on-base asset for fantasy managers -- but he does have seven long balls, 13 RBI and 15 runs scored in his first 24 games of the 2025 season. The 30-year-old power threat has been much more consistent of late, going 11-for-33 with three homers, a double and five RBI in his last eight games. Expect Rooker to be back in action for Friday's series opener against the Chicago White Sox.Source: MLB.com
Athletics outfielder/designated hitter Jrue Holiday Tagged As Questionable For Friday
Jrue Holiday (hamstring) has been added to the injury report with a questionable tag ahead of Friday's matchup against the Orlando Magic. The two-time NBA champion is dealing with a right hamstring strain. Holiday could join Jayson Tatum (wrist) on the sidelines, meaning Boston may have to play without two regular starters on Friday night. Sam Hauser is likely to replace Holiday in the starting unit, while Payton Pritchard will get more work off the bench.Source: NBA Injury Report
Boston Celtics guard Dolphins Willing To Trade Down In First Round
Source: Miami Herald - Omar Kelly
The Miami Herald's Omar Kelly reports that the Miami Dolphins have called multiple teams ahead of the first round of the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday night to let them know that they are willing to trade down out of the No. 13 overall pick, depending on how the board falls. It has been the norm for the Dolphins while general manager Chris Grier has been with the franchise. Going into last year's draft, Grier had made more trades since 2019 than any other executive. The Dolphins are attempting to land more picks in the second round on Friday night as they look to beef up their offensive and defensive lines and their secondary, specifically. As things stand right now, Miami has only two picks in Rounds 2 and 3 combined, so don't be surprised if they trade out of the first round entirely on Thursday night.Jayson Tatum Likely Out Again On Friday
Jayson Tatum (wrist) has been tagged as doubtful for Friday's Game 3 against the Orlando Magic. He also had the designation on the initial injury report ahead of Game 2 before missing the first postseason game of his career. It appears likely that the Celtics will remain without Tatum on Friday, which will keep Al Horford in the starting unit. The veteran big man produced a solid 32-minute shift in Wednesday's Game 2 victory, posting nine points, 10 rebounds, one assist, and one block. Tatum's absence also increases the offensive usage of Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis, who scored 56 of the team's 109 points on Wednesday night.Source: NBA Injury Report
Boston Celtics forward Patriots Linked To Will Campbell
Travis Hunter and Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter are off the board, they are expected to call Campbell's name as they try to build up their offensive line in front of young quarterback Drake Maye. The biggest knock on Campbell as a potential bust at the next level is due to his short arms for an offensive lineman.Source: ESPN.com - Jeremy Fowler
New England Patriots brass traveled to Louisiana in recent days to visit with LSU offensive lineman Will Campbell, sources told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. The Patriots have been linked to the All-American tackle with their No. 4 overall pick in this year's NFL draft and did more homework on him late in the process. The Patriots have been fielding calls to trade out of the fourth overall pick in the days leading up to the first round on Thursday night, but if they hold onto the pick and both Colorado two-way star Isaiah Stewart Remains Out For Game 3
Isaiah Stewart (knee) will not suit up for Game 3 against the New York Knicks on Thursday. The team has downgraded him from questionable to out. It is uncertain whether Stewart will be able to participate in the series going forward. Jalen Duran, who has averaged 9.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 3.0 blocks across the first two games, will handle the majority of the workload at center, with Paul Reed serving as his backup off the bench.Source: NBA Injury Report

Andrei Vasilevskiy Looks To Bounce Back In Game 2
Source: Gabby Shirley
Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy will aim to rebound from a rough start to the postseason in Thursday's Game 2 against the Florida Panthers. The 2019 Vezina Trophy winner was lit up for six goals in Game 1 on Tuesday night, finishing with only 11 saves and a .625 save percentage. Tampa Bay allowed three power-play goals in the contest, and a better performance on the penalty kill by the team would be a welcome sight for Vasilevskiy, who holds a 2-6-1 record against Florida since the beginning of last year's playoffs.Bears Looking To Trade Up From Pick No. 10

Rasmus Ristolainen To Miss Training Camp
Source: NHL.com
Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen will be sidelined for six months after undergoing successful right triceps tendon surgery on March 26. He is expected to make a full recovery; however, Flyers general manager Daniel Briere announced on Thursday that Ristolainen will not be healthy for next season's training camp. Ristolainen has been significantly limited by the triceps injury in recent years, making only 94 appearances. He missed the final 16 games of this campaign. The 30-year-old finished the season with 19 points (four goals, 15 assists), 100 shots, 94 blocks, 97 hits, and a plus-three rating.Kirk Cousins Likely To Wait Until Saturday To Waive No-Trade Clause
Kirk Cousins could watch the first round of this year's NFL draft on Thursday night to see what the QB landscape looks like before waiving his no-trade clause on Friday to allow for a possible trade. However, Underdog's James Palmer writes that it seems more and more likely that Cousins could be waiting to see how the second round plays out on Friday night before making any decisions. The 36-year-old veteran signal-caller has made it clear that he wants to be a starter elsewhere over serving as Michael Penix Jr.'s backup in 2025. After Penix took over for the struggling Cousins late last year, the veteran QB prefers to be traded to a team that doesn't have a young up-and-coming signal-caller on the roster already. The Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings have been mentioned as the three most likely candidates to consider trading for Cousins during the draft.Source: Underdog - James Palmer
Atlanta Falcons quarterback Jonas Siegenthaler Returns To Practice
Source: NHL.com
New Jersey Devils defenseman Jonas Siegenthaler (lower body) practiced with the team on Thursday for the first time since sustaining a lower-body injury on Feb. 4. New Jersey lost Luke Hughes (upper body) in Game 1 against the Carolina Hurricanes and could use some reinforcement on defense; however, it remains uncertain whether Siegenthaler will join the lineup for Friday's Game 3. Siegenthaler posted nine points (two goals, seven assists), 92 blocks, and 75 hits in 55 regular-season games. He has made 28 career playoff appearances in the NHL, registering one goal and two assists.Browns Land Fifth-Rounder In Pick Swap With Texans
Travis Hunter with that selection. The Browns have also been rumored to be looking at trading back into the back half of the first round on Thursday evening to potentially take Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart. The No. 2 overall selection is viewed as much too high to take a chance on Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders.Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport
The Cleveland Browns acquired a 2025 fifth-round pick (No. 166 overall) and a fifth-rounder in the 2027 draft on Thursday from the Houston Texans in exchange for two 2025 sixth-round picks (one at No. 179 overall and one at No. 216 overall) and a 2025 seventh-rounder (No. 255 overall), according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The Browns hold the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday night, and if they don't trade back within the first round, they are expected to take Colorado wide receiver/defensive back Aliaksei Protas Traveling With Capitals
Source: Tarik El-Bashir
Washington Capitals forward Aliaksei Protas (foot) has traveled with the team for Games 3 and 4 against the Montreal Canadiens. Protas is expected to return to the lineup in this series and could be an option on Friday night. The two teams will also clash in Montreal on Sunday. Washington lost Protas eight games ago due to a skate cut on his left foot. The team has coped well with his absence, building a 2-0 lead in the matchup, but he would be a valuable addition. Anthony Beauvillier has skated on the first line in Protas' absence during the first two games in the series, recording a goal and two assists with a team-high eight shots.Gabriel Vilardi Still Out On Thursday
Source: Murat Ates
Winnipeg Jets forward Gabriel Vilardi (upper body) will not play in Game 3 against the St. Louis Blues on Thursday. Vilardi traveled with the team to St. Louis but will be sidelined for a 14th consecutive game. The 25-year-old has been skating in a non-contact jersey this week, a sign that Vilardi is making progress. However, it remains unclear when he will be ready to jump back into the lineup. Winnipeg also remains without Nikolaj Ehlers (foot) on Thursday, increasing the fantasy value of Alex Iafallo and Nino Niederreiter.Max Pacioretty Set To Join Maple Leafs Lineup For Game 3
Source: NHL.com
Toronto Maple Leafs left wing Max Pacioretty is expected to enter the lineup on Thursday against the Ottawa Senators. He has sat out the first two games of the series as a healthy scratch. Pacioretty missed the end of the regular season due to an undisclosed injury. The Maple Leafs last had the veteran forward in the lineup on Feb. 8, so Pacioretty will likely have quite a bit of rust on him Thursday night. Pacioretty made 37 regular-season appearances, scoring five goals and 13 points. He is set to take on a third-line role, skating with Max Domi and Bobby McMann.Bryan Woo Picks Up Third Win, Strikes Out Eight On Thursday
Bryan Woo had a quality start and picked up his third win of the season in the team's 4-3 victory over the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park on Thursday. Woo went six strong innings and gave up two earned runs on three hits (one homer) while walking only one and striking out a season-high eight batters. This makes four quality starts for Woo in his first five outings of the 2025 season, and he dropped his season ERA to 3.09 with the strong performance in Thursday's series finale in Beantown. The 25-year-old has been sharp with a 0.97 WHIP, 30 strikeouts and seven walks in the early going in 2025. Fantasy managers will want to keep him in their starting lineups when he faces the division-rival Los Angeles Angels next week.Source: MLB.com
Seattle Mariners right-hander Cade Cavalli Moving Rehab Assignment To Double-A
Cade Cavalli (elbow) is moving his minor-league rehab assignment to Double-A Harrisburg and will make his next start on Thursday. In his first rehab start while recovering from Tommy John surgery, Cavalli threw four shutout innings with one hit allowed, two walks and three strikeouts for Single-A Fredericksburg. The former first-rounder made his major-league debut back in 2022 with the Nationals but allowed seven earned runs in 4 1/3 innings in his lone start before missing most of the last two seasons due to right-elbow issues. Because of his extended layoff, the 26-year-old is likely going to spend all 30 days on his rehab assignment before the Nationals decide what to do with him. When he's ready to come off the 15-day injured list, there's a good chance Cavalli will be sent to Triple-A Rochester.Source: The Washington Post - Spencer Nusbaum
Washington Nationals right-hander Paul DeJong Having Surgery On His Nose
Paul DeJong (nose) saw an eye specialist on Thursday who found no issues. However, DeJong will undergo surgery to fix his broken nose. Manager Dave Martinez didn't offer a timetable for DeJong's eventual return after he was hit by a pitch back on April 15. In addition to his injury, the 31-year-old veteran has had a rough start at the plate in his first year with the Nats, going 11-for-54 (.204) with no home runs, four doubles, two RBI, two stolen bases, two walks and 24 strikeouts in his 16 games played. Until DeJong is able to return from surgery on his nose, veteran Amed Rosario and Jose Tena will split playing time for Washington at the hot corner. Fantasy managers in deep-mixed leagues don't really have any reason to hang onto DeJong while he recovers from a scary hit-by-pitch.Source: MASN Sports - Mark Zuckerman
Washington Nationals infielder Royce Lewis Starting His Rehab Assignment On Friday
Royce Lewis (hamstring) will begin his minor-league rehab assignment on Friday with the Triple-A St. Paul Saints. Things were trending this way after Lewis didn't have any setbacks after sprinting on Monday and running the bases on Tuesday. Because the oft-injured 25-year-old has been out of action since the middle of March in spring training with a left-hamstring strain, his rehab assignment could be longer than normal, but there's also a chance he'll come off the injured list to rejoin the big-league roster at some point later next week. When Lewis does make his 2025 debut for Minnesota, young infielder Brooks Lee will head back to a bench role for the Twins. Lewis, the former first overall pick in 2017, has yet to reach the 20-homer mark since debuting in 2022, but he also hasn't played in more than 82 games in a season due to injuries.Source: The Athletic - Dan Hayes
