After trading heavy shots from the outset, with both fighters having their moments, Brundage landed an upercut that hurt Marquez. Cody Brundage got back in the win column by defeating Julian Marquez via first-round TKO in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 103. Brundage was badly hurt by Marquez toward the end of the opening round, but Brundage was able to turn things around. Not long after that, Brundage landed an upercut that hurt Marquez. Brundage then pounced on Marquez, finishing the fight with ground-and-pound. In 4:45 of action, Brundage landed 44 significant strikes.
