Week 2 FLEX Rankings Outlooks

Keon Coleman, Buffalo Bills

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman was viewed as a breakout candidate entering the season, and he lived up to the billing in a Week 1 win over the Baltimore Ravens. Coleman led the Bills in catches (eight), targets (11), yards (112), and touchdowns (one) against a strong Ravens secondary. He'll face another major challenge this week with New York Jets shutdown cornerback Sauce Gardner on the opposing side.

Gardner performed brilliantly in a Week 1 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, giving up just one catch for 11 yards to No. 1 receiver DK Metcalf. He lined up across from Metcalf on 30 of 34 passing plays, according to Next Gen Stats, and Coleman could be in for a similar fate this week. That's not to say Coleman won't produce - Metcalf still finished with four catches for 83 yards, as he didn't exclusively match up against Gardner - but there should be wariness going into Week 2 against an elite corner.

Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints

Despite heading to the medical tent twice, New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave led the team with 13 targets, turning them into seven receptions for 54 yards in Sunday's loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Kellen Moore's offense appeared aggressive, as quarterback Spencer Rattler attempted a career-high 46 passes in Week 1.

This bodes well for the fourth-year receiver, who looks poised to become a go-to target in the pass-heavy attack. Olave should have plenty of opportunities to build chemistry with Rattler and, as long as he remains healthy, projects as a borderline WR2/WR3 this week against the San Francisco 49ers.

Dylan Sampson, Cleveland Browns

Cleveland Browns running back Dylan Sampson will head on the road to take on the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2. Sampson turned in an excellent pro debut in a one-point loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1, catching all eight of his targets for 64 yards. He also dominated the backfield work, earning 12 carries to starter Jerome Ford's six in the contest.

Sampson appears to be locked into the pass-catching role in the Cleveland offense, a spot that should be productive against a Ravens defense that allowed James Cook to catch all five of his targets for 58 yards in Week 1. Sampson sets up as a high-end RB3/flex option with upside heading into fantasy contests in W
