Athletics relief pitcher Mason Miller worked a scoreless ninth inning to preserve his team's 2-1 win on the road in Arlington on Monday night. He walked Marcus Semien to start the frame but then retired the next three batters he faced, including a huge strikeout of Adolis Garcia with the potential tying run in scoring position. Miller has pitched 11 innings in 11 games for the A's this season, compiling a 1.64 ERA, 0.79 FIP, and 0.73 WHIP. He has 22 strikeouts in those 11 innings and has converted all nine of his save opportunities. The Athletics are 15-14 after their win on Monday, and Miller will remain one of baseball's top closers for a vastly improved team moving forward.--Zach Thompson - RotoBallerSource: ESPN.com

Los Angeles Dodgers designated hitter Shohei Ohtani singled, stole a base, and came around to score in the first inning against the Marlins on Monday, but he didn't get much to hit for the rest of the game. He walked three times and struck out in his other at-bat to finish 1-for-2 with three walks, a run scored, and his seventh stolen base of the season. Ohtani is hitting .290 on the season with six home runs, a .243 ISO, a .399 wOBA, and 27 runs scored, which is just one behind the MLB lead held by Brice Turang. Ohtani is doing a great job as the Dodgers' leadoff hitter, even if his power numbers are slightly down, since he constantly is getting on base and creating scoring chances.--Zach Thompson - RotoBallerSource: ESPN.com

Chicago Cubs outfield prospect Owen Caissie is riding a six-game hitting streak at Triple-A. During this stretch, Caissie has held a .286/.400/.667 slash line with two doubles and two home runs. He has also held a 6:4 K:BB. Before this recent stretch, the No. 3-ranked prospect in the system held an underwhelming .186/.271/.326 slash line across his last 10 games. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor Caissie's production at Triple-A, as he could be nearing his MLB debut. Last summer, the former second-round pick in the 2020 MLB Draft spent his entire 2024 season with Triple-A Iowa. Across 127 games, he held a solid .278/.375/.472 slash line with 29 doubles and 19 long balls. If he can continue to turn the corner, he could be in the mix to earn a promotion in the coming months.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerSource: MiLB.com

Miami Marlins left-handed pitching prospect Thomas White has enjoyed a strong start to the High-A regular season. Through his first 16 1/3 innings of work, the southpaw has struck out 22 batters and served up 11 free passes. White has tallied at least six punchouts in three of his four outings. However, he has also served up three walks in three of his four starts. Last season, the top prospect in Miami spent most of his time with High-A and held a 2.61 ERA with a 1.16 WHIP across 62 innings of work. During this stint, he struck out 76 batters and allowed 21 walks. If White can continue to lower his walk rate, he should be in the mix to earn a promotion to Double-A. White is an emerging arm in the minor leagues and should be in contention to reach the majors in 2026.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerSource: MiLB.com

Cleveland Guardians infield prospect Travis Bazzana has hit a skid at Double-A Akron. Over his last 10 games, the former No. 1 overall pick has held a .158/.289/.158 slash line with no extra-base hits. During this stretch, Bazzana has held a 14:6 K:BB and swiped just one bag. However, during his first nine games of the season, the Oregon State product was quite productive as he posted a strong .324/.423/.595 slash line with one double, three triples, and one home run. Bazzana made his professional debut after being drafted last summer with High-A. Across a brief 27-game look at that level, Bazzana held a .238/.369/.396 slash line. Fantasy managers should expect the Guardians to continue to keep Bazzana at Double-A for the time being, given his current struggles.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerSource: MiLB.com

Houston Astros left-handed pitcher Brandon Walter has enjoyed an impressive start to the Triple-A regular season and was named Pacific League Pitcher of the Week. Over his last two outings this past week, Walter has logged 10 shutout innings (two starts) and allowed just four hits and no walks. During this stretch, he has struck out nine batters. Before this impressive week, Walter held a 3.95 ERA with an impressive 0.80 WHIP across his first 13 2/3 innings of the campaign. Walter was unable to pitch at all during the 2024 season due to a shoulder injury, but appears to have already found his footing early in the 2025 season. He made his MLB debut in 2023 with the Red Sox but held a modest 6.26 ERA across his first 23 major league frames. If he continues to perform well at Triple-A, he could push for a return to the big leagues.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerSource: MiLB.com

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder James Outman has enjoyed an impressive week at Triple-A and was named Pacific Coast League Hitter of the Week. Over his last seven contests, the outfielder has held a .448/.467/.828 slash line with three doubles, one triple, and two home runs. He has also swiped two bags over this stretch and posted three multi-hit games. This is an excellent sign for Outman, as he held a modest .172/.264/.370 slash line over his first 19 games of the regular season. Outman spent most of the 2023 season in the majors but appeared in only 53 games in 2024, as he was frequently shifted between the big leagues and Triple-A. Fantasy managers should monitor his progression at Oklahoma City, as he could be in the mix to return to the majors. If he does get the call, he could be worth adding in NL-only formats.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerSource: MiLB.com

The Cleveland Guardians have promoted first base prospect C.J. Kayfus to Triple-A Columbus. Kayfus has enjoyed an impressive start to the Double-A regular season and is being rewarded with an early promotion. Through 18 games with Double-A Akron, the infielder has posted a .364/.475/.591 slash line with four doubles, four triples, and one home run. He has added 11 RBI and held a 14:11 K:BB. This is a nice improvement compared to the .263/.366/.470 line he held across his first 67 games at the Double-A level during the 2024 campaign. Fantasy managers should monitor Kayfus' progress at Triple-A as he could push for an MLB debut later this summer if he continues this current pace. He is worth closely monitoring in deeper AL-only redraft leagues, but he is not worth stashing for now.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerSource: Cleveland Guardians

Baltimore Orioles right-hander Felix Bautista tossed a scoreless ninth inning to preserve a 4-3 win over the New York Yankees on Monday. Bautista was sharp in the frame, striking out two on 14 pitches without allowing a baserunner. The veteran reliever continues to be a stable piece to the Baltimore bullpen as he now has a 2.25 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, and 10 strikeouts over eight innings of work while converting all four of his save chances. He remains an above-average fantasy closer in all formats.--Matt T - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Baltimore Orioles DH Ryan O'Hearn added to his homer total in a 4-3 win over the New York Yankees on Monday. O'Hearn went 1-for-4 with a three-run blast to lead the way to the victory over New York. The veteran is off to a fast start in 2025, hitting .300 with five homers, 11 runs, 11 RBI, and one stolen base across 70 at-bats. O'Hearn is worth a look in deeper, AL-only fantasy formats as a potential reserve going forward.--Matt T - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Colorado Rockies catcher Hunter Goodman turned in a productive game in a 6-3 loss to the Atlanta Braves on Monday. Goodman provided all of the offense for his team, going 1-for-4 with a three-run homer. The 25-year-old backstop launched a 402-foot blast in the first inning to give the Rockies an early lead, but that was all they would be able to muster against Atlanta. Goodman is now hitting .256 with five homers, 15 runs, and 14 RBI across 90 at-bats this season. He is in the midst of a hot streak, hitting .308 with two homers and six RBI over his past seven contests.--Matt T - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Atlanta Braves right-hander Bryce Elder turned in a quality start in a 6-3 win over the Colorado Rockies on Monday. Elder allowed three runs on five hits over six innings while striking out four and walking two to pick up the win. The veteran picked up seven swinging strikes on the way to improving his record to 1-1, to go along with a 5.33 ERA, 1.41 WHIP, and 16 strikeouts over 27 innings of work this season. With a bloated ERA and low strikeout rate, Elder isn't of much interest in fantasy unless it is as a streaming option in plus matchups.--Matt T - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

New York Mets DH Jesse Winker turned in a productive day in a 19-5 win over the Washington Nationals on Monday. Winker went 2-for-4 with two walks, four runs, and an RBI in the lopsided victory over Washington. The veteran needed that as he has been off to a slow start in 2025, hitting just .220 with one homer, seven runs, eight RBI, and a stolen base across 59 at-bats. He is starting to show signs of life with a .286 average over his past seven games. That being said, he is off the radar in fantasy outside of the deepest leagues.--Matt T - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Atlanta Braves outfielder Michael Harris II had a productive day in a 6-3 win over the Colorado Rockies on Monday. Harris went 1-for-4 with a double, a run, two RBI, and a stolen base in the winning effort. The veteran ripped a two-run double to break a 3-3 tie in the fifth inning, bringing Marcell Ozuna and Ozzie Albies around to score. Harris is now hitting .243 with five doubles, three homers, 11 runs, 15 RBI, and six steals across 107 at-bats this season. He can be counted upon to provide a modest amount of power and speed to fantasy lineups in deeper leagues.--Matt T - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

New York Mets outfielder Jeff McNeil hit his first homer of the season in a 19-5 blowout win over the Washington Nationals on Monday. McNeil went 2-for-5 with a triple, a homer, and three RBI to help power the Mets to the win. The veteran has logged just 12 at-bats in 2025 after spending the majority of the season on the injured list while recovering from a right oblique strain, but he's wasted little time catching up as he's hitting .333 with three RBI thus far. McNeil will look to stay hot as the Mets open up a series against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday.--Matt T - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com
