Travis Bazzana Hits Skid At Double-A
Travis Bazzana has hit a skid at Double-A Akron. Over his last 10 games, the former No. 1 overall pick has held a .158/.289/.158 slash line with no extra-base hits. During this stretch, Bazzana has held a 14:6 K:BB and swiped just one bag. However, during his first nine games of the season, the Oregon State product was quite productive as he posted a strong .324/.423/.595 slash line with one double, three triples, and one home run. Bazzana made his professional debut after being drafted last summer with High-A. Across a brief 27-game look at that level, Bazzana held a .238/.369/.396 slash line. Fantasy managers should expect the Guardians to continue to keep Bazzana at Double-A for the time being, given his current struggles.
