Zhang Mingyang extended his win streak to 12 when he defeated former title challenger Anthony Smith in the co-main event of UFC Kansas City on Saturday. The turning point of the fight came when Mingyang landed a hard elbow that caused a deep cut on Smith's head. With blood pouring, Smith was fading fast, so he decided to shoot for a takedown. Mingyang stuffed the takedown and finished Smith on the ground with punches. In 4:03 of action, Mingyang landed 63 significant strikes. --Alen Kurbasic
