Ben Kohles Finishes Tied For 59th At Corales Puntacana Championship
Ben Kohles finished tied for 59th at the Corales Puntacana Championship two weeks ago and is now focusing on preparing for this week's CJ Cup Byron Nelson, which will be held at TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas. Kohles has two top-25 finishes out of 12 starts this season, but he has also missed the cut in seven of those tournaments. In the past 12 months, Kohles ranks in the 50th percentile in proximity to the hole on approach shots from over 200 yards in the fairway. This is important because, at last year's CJ Cup Byron Nelson, over 38% of approach shots came from this distance. Including Kohles in DFS lineups this week carries some risk.
