Mark Scheifele Injured In Game 5
Winnipeg Jets center Mark Scheifele (undisclosed) was limited to 8:05 of action in Wednesday's 5-3 victory over the St. Louis Blues. The star forward, who collected an assist on the game's opening goal, was hurt on a hit by Blues forward Brayden Schenn. Scheifele's early exit on Wednesday leaves his status uncertain for Friday's Game 6. He has helped the Jets take a 3-2 lead in the series, scoring two goals and accumulating six points in five games. All of his points have come in three home games. Adam Lowry may move into the top six if Scheifele isn't in game shape on Friday night.
