Tommy Edman Dealing With Ankle Injury
Tommy Edman (ankle), who did not start in Wednesday's series finale win over the visiting Miami Marlins, said he tweaked his right ankle on Tuesday night and still felt some discomfort on Wednesday. The Dodgers have a scheduled day off on Thursday before beginning a series in Atlanta against the Braves on Friday, so fantasy managers will want to check back then to see if Edman is feeling good enough to play. The 29-year-old should be considered day-to-day until further notice. The veteran switch-hitter isn't tearing the cover off the baseball through the first month of the 2025 season -- he's hitting .252 (28-for-111) -- but he's managed to be productive for his fantasy managers with 24 RBI, 19 runs scored, two stolen bases and eight home runs in 30 games played.
