Song Yadong won a technical decision over former UFC two-division champion Henry Cejudo at UFC Seattle on Saturday night. Yadong accidentally poked Cejudo in the eye midway through the third round, but Cejudo decided to continue fighting after using all five minutes of recovery time. A ringside doctor was called into the octagon and referee Jason Herzog decided to stop the fight. In 15 minutes of action, Yadong landed 84 significant strikes, compared to Cejudo who landed 67. Former two-division champion Henry Cejudo lost to Song Yadong via technical decision after he was unable to continue due to an eye poke. Near the end of the third round, Cejudo got poked in the eye so the referee gave Cejudo five minutes of recovery time. After Cejudo used his five minutes of recovery time, he finished the round. Between the third and the fourth round, Cejudo told his corner that he was seeing double so the referee decided to stop the fight. In 15 minutes of action, Cejudo landed 67 significant strikes. Brendan Allen was not able to get back in the win column as he lost his UFC Seattle co-main event bout with Anthony Hernandez via unanimous decision. Allen had his moments in this fight, but Hernandez managed to take Allen down time and time again and control him there. In 15 minutes of action, Allen landed 14 significant strikes. Melsik Baghdasaryan suffered a first-round TKO loss to Jean Silva on the main card at UFC Seattle on Saturday. This was Baghdasaryan's first fight since July of 2023, as he has been dealing with injuries. Silva landed a massive 3-2 combination that dropped Baghdasaryan.
