Ozzie Albies Returns From Injured List
1 year agoThe Atlanta Braves reinstated second baseman Ozzie Albies (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list on Monday and optioned infielder Vaughn Grissom to Triple-A Gwinnett in a corresponding move. Albies should be back in Monday's lineup against the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field, but fantasy managers will want to check back later for confirmation. The 26-year-old All-Star second baseman is returning after two weeks on the sidelines with a strained left hamstring. He could need to shake off a little rust after not going on a minor-league rehab assignment, but fantasy managers will surely be happy to have him back. In 457 at-bats in 2023, Albies has a .267/.327/.514 slash line with an .841 OPS, 28 home runs, 90 RBI, 11 stolen bases and 75 runs scored.
