Nikola Vucevic Traded to Celtics
The Chicago Bulls have traded center Nikola Vucevic and a second-round pick to the Boston Celtics in exchange for Anfernee Simons and a second-round pick. Vucevic has spent the past six seasons with the Bulls, averaging 18.1 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 3.4 assists in just under 33 minutes per game. The 15th-year center has been rock solid so far this season, ranking just outside the Top-10 among centers in most fantasy formats. With him joining the Celtics, his offensive impact may be limited by Jaylen Brown, Payton Pritchard, and Jayson Tatum, especially once he returns from his Achilles injury. However, this is a much-needed move for Boston, as they add a reliable big man who can shoot from behind the arc and stretch the floor. For the Bulls, centers Jalen Smith and Zach Collins should fill the minutes left by the veteran center.
