Mookie Betts Clubs Game-Winning Homer
6 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts finished 2-for-4, with two runs scored, including a go-ahead, solo home run in the top of the eighth inning of a 6-4 win over Tampa Bay Friday. The reigning American League MVP was going through a 3-for-32 cold streak but hopefully the long ball will give him a jolt. The Sox sit at just 7-13 but will need more big nights from Betts if they want to get back in the AL East race. He'll have his hands full the remainder of the weekend, facing Charlie Morton and Tyler Glasnow. However, Betts should be in your lineups regardless of matchup.
