Miles Sanders Good To Go For Week 1
1 year agoCarolina Panthers running back Miles Sanders (groin) was not listed on the team's first official injury report on Wednesday as they get ready to face the Atlanta Falcons in Week 1 on Sunday. Sanders injured his groin in a training camp practice back on Aug. 9, and the Panthers held him out of the entire preseason as a precaution. The 26-year-old is set to be the clear leader of Carolina's backfield in his first season with the team, and he will have little competition behind him from Chuba Hubbard and Raheem Blackshear. Expect the Panthers to lean on their ground game as much as possible to help rookie first-round quarterback Bryce Young, making Sanders a volume-based RB2 in fantasy.
