Mikko Rantanen was the star of the game with three goals. He now has 31 goals in 26 games after missing a good chunk of time due to injury. Nathan MacKinnon had two helpers and now has eight points in his last three games. Pierre-Edouard Bellemare had a goal and an assist and matched his career-high in both goals (seven) and points (16) in just 41 games. Defenders Ian Cole and Samuel Girard each chipped in two points. Cole now has 20 points in 37 games. Girard has 22 points in 42 games and is five points away from his career-high in points.
