Mike Trout Out For Game 2 Of Doubleheader
1 year agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout (wrist) will miss the second game of a doubleheader on Wednesday against the visiting Cincinnati Reds after he felt discomfort in his surgically repaired left hand in his return from the injured list on Tuesday. Trout is sitting out for both ends of the doubleheader on Wednesday, but the Angels aren't concerned and expected Trout to be sore. With an off day coming on Thursday, the three-time MVP has a good shot at returning to the lineup for the start of a series in New York against the Mets on Friday. The 32-year-old was on the shelf for six weeks due to a fractured hamate bone in his left hand, but now that he's back, he should be in starting fantasy lineups when he's in the Halos lineup.
