Miguel Cabrera Goes Yard On Tuesday
Miguel Cabrera hit his first home run since Opening Day on Tuesday against the Chicago White Sox. Cabrera hit a solo shot in the first inning of the game off of White Sox starter Lucas Giolito. Altogether, Cabrera was 2-for-4 in the game with a strikeout. This was Cabrera's third game back after spending about two weeks on the injured list with a mild biceps strain. Through 10 games on the year, Cabrera is slashing .171/.275/.371 with two home runs, a double and five walks. Cabrera is worth roster consideration in deep leagues and AL-only leagues, but can be left on waivers in all shallow leagues.
