Mauricio Dubon Out On Wednesday
2 years agoHouston Astros outfielder/infielder Mauricio Dubon (hamstring) is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Angels. Dubon injured his left hamstring in Tuesday's contest and had to be removed early. He's currently considered day-to-day for now, so there's a chance he could return to action later this week/weekend. The 28-year-old has seen decent playing time due to injuries on the roster of late, and he's taken advantage of the playing time by hitting .287 (37-for-129) with seven doubles, a triple, no home runs, six RBI and three stolen bases in 31 games played. With Dubon sidelined on Wednesday, David Hensley is manning the keystone and is hitting seventh in the batting order against Angels right-hander Griffin Canning.
