Matt Ryan Looks Fantastic In Week 6
2 years agoIndianapolis Colts quarterback Matt Ryan bounced back nicely against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. The 37-year-old desperately needed a solid performance after posting a dud the week prior against Denver. Ryan started slow, but eventually took advantage of the Jags weak secondary. He completed 42-of-58 passing attempts for 389 yards with three touchdowns and zero interceptions in the win. Ryan set a Colts single-season record for completions during this contest. The veteran signal caller has been hit-and-miss this season, but was on his game here. However, he'll likely lose some value when the Colts go back to being run-heavy once Jonathan Taylor (ankle) is healthy. Ryan should be considered a high-end QB2 for next week's matchup with the Tennessee Titans.
