Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan is expected to see his first action of the preseason in the final contest Sunday against the Browns. The veteran signal-caller has given way to the backup quarterback competition in the first two games, a situation that has become even more important after the injury to projected backup A.J. McCarron. Tori McElhaney of Falcons.com reports that Ryan could be out there for a series or two, though it wouldn't be surprising to see him play even less than that. The Boston College product doesn't require preseason reps to be regular-season ready, even in the midst of learning a new system. There are some doubts about Ryan's post-Julio Jones fantasy effectiveness, though he still has enough weapons to be a high-floor option, particularly in 2QB leagues.--Tim Capurso
