Matt Harvey Posts Quality Start
6 years agoLos Angeles Angels starter Matt Harvey allowed two runs on three hits through six innings in the Angels 4-3 loss to the Yankees. Despite the loss, it was Harvey's best outing since his first start of the season on March 29. This is the kind of performance the Angels were hoping for when they signed the veteran in the offseason; solid, if unspectacular. Despite the quality outing, Harvey's numbers still do not paint a pretty picture for prospective fantasy owners. Heading into his next start, Harvey still sports an ERA of 8.03, a WHIP of 1.58 and 29 hits allowed through only 24 2/3 innings with 16 strikeouts.
