Martin Truex Jr. starts from the pole on Saturday night at the Bass Pro Shops Night Race from Bristol. The expectation is that he will not lead all that many laps. Aside from the dirt race, Truex Jr. has not finished in the top ten on the track since an eighth in 2017. There have been a couple of crashes mixed in as well. Also, the No. 19 car has not tested well in speed intervals there falling outside the top ten later in runs. Hence, over the last three years, Truex Jr.'s average finish and driver rating are outside the top ten active drivers. Honestly, there are better drivers in his price tier this week. Besides, Truex Jr. has already advanced to the Round of 12. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
