Luis Robert Jr. Returns To Spring Lineup
2 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert Jr. is back in the team's Cactus League lineup on Thursday against the San Francisco Giants and left-hander Sean Manaea after playing for Team Cuba in the World Baseball Classic. Robert is manning center field and batting second in the lineup. The 25-year-old slugger went 7-for-27 with a double and four RBI for Team Cuba, and he returns to a poor .182 average (2-for-11) in just four spring games. Robert played in a career-high 98 games in 2022, so durability has been an issue for him in his three MLB seasons. But he hit .284/.319/.426 with a .746 OPS, 12 home runs, 56 RBI, 54 runs scored and 11 stolen bases last year when healthy. For his upside alone, Robert should be viewed as a top-15 fantasy outfielder.
