Kyle Trask Has "Legit Shot" To Win Tampa's Starting QB Job
Kyle Trask would get a legitamate shot to win the starting job in training camp. He will compete with veteran Blaine Gabbert for the team's starting QB job in 2022. Tampa Bay is expected to sign a quarterback in the offseason with the GOAT Tom Brady now retired. Last spring, Trask was an early draft pick, taken 64th overall by Tampa Bay in 2021. The 24-year-old threw for 7,224 yards and a 68:15 TD:INT ratio over two seasons in Florida. With a strong camp, Trask will get a shot and could be Tampa's starting quarterback in 2022.
