Miami Marlins outfielder Kyle Stowers (oblique) has returned to Miami to be re-evaluated on Monday after he was unable to play for Triple-A Jacksonville on his minor-league rehab assignment the last two days, according to Isaac Izaout of Fish On First. Stowers started his rehab assignment with the Jumbo Shrimp on Friday night but was held out on Saturday and Sunday due to fatigue after going 0-for-3 as the designated hitter. The 27-year-old breakout star has been on the 10-day injured list since the middle of August, and it's unclear if he's had a setback with his strained oblique or if he's dealing with another issue, but his availability for the remainder of the 2025 season is now firmly in question. For the time being, Joey Wiemer should continue to see most of the playing time in right field in Miami, with Victor Mesa Jr. also being an option for more starts in the outfield. UPDATE: Stower underwent imaging on his side on Monday.--Keith Hernandez
