E.J. Liddell Agrees to Two-Year Deal with Greek Club Aris
Brooklyn Nets forward/center E.J. Liddell has agreed to a two-year deal with Greek EuroCup club Aris, with only the official announcement pending, Eurohoops reports. The 25-year-old played on an expiring two-way contract last season and was headed for free agency this summer. Liddell appeared in 26 games with five starts for Brooklyn in 2025-26, averaging 5.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 0.9 assists on 48.6 percent shooting, then flashed upside with 18.4 points per game across five April contests. He added 17.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in 26 G League games with Long Island. Aris is spending aggressively under new coach Vassilis Spanoulis to chase the EuroCup title. For dynasty and deep-league managers who stashed Liddell after that April surge, the signing closes the book on his NBA stock for now.
