Kurt Busch is just racing out the string so to speak as the No. 1 car starts 20th on Sunday at Las Vegas. The elder Busch won the late-season race last year much the same way he comes in on Sunday night. The Chip Ganassi Racing driver was eliminated last week after a 19th-place result at Bristol. With a shift in teams looming for next season, Busch has little to lose. It was that attitude earlier in the season that led to his win at Atlanta. While those chances are small, one never knows.
