Kris Bryant Expected To Return Monday
1 year agoColorado Rockies outfielder Kris Bryant (finger) is expected to come off the 10-day injured list on Monday and play against his former team, the Chicago Cubs. Bryant has been on the shelf since July 22 after suffering a fractured finger on his left hand. It's been an injury-filled two years since joining the Rockies for Bryant. In 65 games this year before going on the injured list, he hit .251 (61-for-243) with eight home runs, seven doubles, 23 RBI and 27 runs scored in 275 plate appearances. The former Rookie of the Year and MVP should see regular playing time between the outfield, first base and designated hitter now that he's back in the big leagues. But fantasy managers shouldn't expect any kind of amazing finish for the aging and now injury-prone Bryant.
