Dallas Mavericks forward Khris Middleton (illness) won't suit up on Friday against the Portland Trail Blazers. He was a very late addition to the injury report due to illness. After a couple of big performances early in his Mavericks career, Middleton has posted fairly underwhelming averages of 11.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in 22.3 minutes with the team. Fellow veteran Klay Thompson may log more action on Friday due to his absence.--Taavi Pailk
