Kendrick Bourne Finding His Stride In Camp
1 year agoNew England Patriots wide receiver Kendrick Bourne has stacked a couple of strong training camp practices this week, and the veteran wideout appears to be finding his stride in offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien's scheme. Things might be slowing down for quarterback Mac Jones as well, as his recognition of blitzes seems to be more clear and he's being more decisive about getting the ball out. Bourne, 28, took a step back in his second season in New England in 2022, posting a 35-434-1 line in 16 games (two starts). He'll remain a starter this year in what should be an improved offense, but the Patriots will most likely lean heavily on their ground game to help Jones out. He'll also be competing for targets with JuJu Smith-Schuster, DeVante Parker and Tyquan Thornton. Bourne is probably going to go undrafted in most fantasy leagues this fall.
