11 months agoToronto Blue Jays relief pitcher Ken Giles is expected to join his new team on Thursday in Seattle. Giles was shipped to Toronto from Houston in the deal involving closer Roberto Osuna over the weekend. Giles was Houston's main closer in 2017 but faltered down the stretch and in the postseason and was demoted to the minors this year after posting a 4.99 ERA and 1.27 WHIP over 34 outings. He has a career-low 9.1 K/9 but could be an option to close out games for the Blue Jays to finish off the season. If you're searching for saves and Giles is available, give him a shot.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
