Josh Jacobs Returns To Practice For The First Time
1 year agoLas Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs practiced with the team for the first time on Wednesday following months of back-and-forth contract negotiations. Jacobs eventually agreed to a one-year deal with a base value of $11.8 million, and he can earn an extra $200,000 in incentives. Now the All-Pro is working to ramp himself up for the 2023 regular season after leading the NFL in rushing in 2022. Getting back to peak football shape will take some time, and his workload for Week 1 against the division-rival Denver Broncos will be up in the air until later next week. However, Jacobs isn't expecting any limitations. The 25-year-old might be a little sluggish early on in 2023, but he's still a top-10 fantasy RB1 as the workhorse of Vegas' backfield.
