1 year agoCleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez is facing a multi-game suspension from the league as MLB sorts out discipline following Ramirez's brawl with Chicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson on Saturday. The teams expect to hear from the league on Monday, and fantasy managers should brace for being without Ramirez for an extended period. Ramirez and Anderson threw punches at second base in the sixth inning on Saturday night, with Ramirez knocking Anderson to the ground with a blind right hook that landed on Anderson's chin. Both players were ejected, along with Cleveland manager Terry Francona, third base coach Mike Sarbaugh, closer Emmanuel Clase and White Sox manager Pedro Grifol.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
