Jose Ramirez Begins Serving Suspension Saturday
1 year agoCleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez has had his suspension reduced from three games to two, and he will begin serving his suspension on Saturday. Ramirez was appealing MLB's suspension for his involvement in a brawl with the Chicago White Sox last Saturday in which he dropped Tim Anderson with a right hook after a slide into second base. Fantasy managers won't have the 30-year-old All-Star available for the rest of the weekend series against the Tampa Bay Rays, but he should be back in action on Tuesday to face the Cincinnati Reds. J-Ram has once again been a set-and-forget fantasy commodity for lineups in 2023. He's hitting .282/.357/.487 with an .844 OPS, 18 home runs, 65 RBI, 18 stolen bases and 68 runs scored in his 439 at-bats.
