New Orleans Pelicans point guard Jose Alvarado (oblique) is set to miss approximately two more weeks, Rod Walker of The Times-Picayune reports. The defensive specialist has already been sidelined for three games with left oblique soreness. Bryce McGowens has held a steady role in the rotation during Alvarado's absence, but he's had a couple of duds after a 20-point effort against the Atlanta Hawks last Wednesday. There are also additional minutes available for Jordan Poole and Jordan Hawkins.--Taavi Pailk
