Jorge Polanco Hitting Leadoff In Return To Lineup
11 months agoMinnesota Twins second baseman Jorge Polanco is hitting leadoff for the team for the first time this year on Thursday against right-hander Tanner Bibee and the Cleveland Guardians. Polanco returns for the Twins and fantasy managers after spending roughly two weeks due to a left-hamstring strain. The 29-year-old should hit at the top of the lineup or in the heart of the order on a regular basis as the starting second baseman, and he needs to be rostered in all fantasy leagues. Before his injury, Polanco was hitting .284 (27-for-95) with seven doubles, four home runs, 14 RBI, a stolen base and 10 runs scored in 101 trips to the plate and 23 games. Get him back into your starting lineups in single-year leagues.
